How Does A Condenser Work In Cold Storage?

29 Aug.,2023

Its function in the refrigeration circuit is to drive and compress the refrigerant. 5 Benefits of cold storage room increase to 5000 when compressor works efficiently. The refrigerant is drawn out of the low-pressure zone by the compressor, compressed, and sent to the high-pressure zone for cooling and condensing.

Via the air-cooling fins, it releases heat into the atmosphere. At the same time, the refrigerant transitions from a gaseous to a liquid condition, and ultimately it increases pressure.

1. Condenser
It is a crucial piece of heat exchange gear in the cold storage’s refrigeration unit and is used to either cool or concentrate the high-temperature refrigerant gas that is released from the compressors.

2. Electrified Valve

● Keep the evaporator from being filled with high-pressure refrigerant liquid when the compressor is turned off. Next time, keep the low pressure from getting too high and protect the rotor from the liquid strike.

● The thermostat begins to operate when the cold storage temperature reaches the preset level, while the solenoid valve goes offline and the compressor shuts off when the pressure drop hits the preset shutdown level. The thermostat and solenoid valve both function when the temperature in the cold environment returns to the predetermined level. When the low pressure reaches the compressor’s preset value, the compressor turns on.

3. Protection For Both High And Low Voltages
To safeguard the compressor, avoid having too much high pressure and too little low pressure.

4. Thermostat
Comparable to the central nervous system of cold storage, which manages the start and stop of defrosting, cooling, and blowers.

5. Drier Filter
Contaminants and humidity in the system are filtered.

6. Protector for oil pressure
Make sure there is enough lubricating oil for the compressor.

7. Decompression Valve
Also known as a “throttle valve,” this device can create a significant pressure difference between the system’s high and low pressures, causing the high-pressure coolant liquid at the expansion valve’s exit to rapidly expand and evaporate, absorbing heat from the air through into the tube wall and exchanging cold and warm air.

8. Separator For Oil
To ensure the device operates safely and effectively, the lubricating oil must be separated from the high-pressure steam (extracted from the refrigeration compressor). The oil droplets in the high-pressure vapor are segregated under the influence of gravity in accordance with the oil separation principle by lowering the inflow velocity and switching the airflow orientation.

Typically, oil particles larger than 0.2 mm in diameter can be separated when the airflow is less than 1 m/s (contained in the steam).

9. Pressure-Regulating Valve For The Evaporator
Make sure that the evaporator pressure and evaporation temperature don’t drop below the predetermined level. Evaporator pressure may occasionally be adjusted to accommodate load changes.

10. Fan Controller
mostly used to regulate the speed of the cold storage evaporation or the external air-cooled cooling fan motor.

11. Liquid-Gas Separator
To avoid the compressor liquid strike by separating the refrigerant in its mixed vapor-liquid condition after it has been recovered by the evaporator.

12. Liquid-Gas Separator
To minimize the compressor liquid hit by separating the refrigerant in its mixed vapor-liquid condition after it has been returned by the evaporator.
