Regards to galvanized material welded wire fence,there is electro galvanized material and hot dipped galvanized material. The metal wire used to galvanized before welding net is redrawn wire. The wire is treated with electroplating. After many drawing, the zinc content on the surface of the wire is little, and the wire welding points are not treated with corrosion. So the life of the wire is relatively short and it is generally about 1 years (electro galvanized material) for under outdoor conditions.It is about 5years life for hot dipped galvanized material before welding. Another is galvanized after welded. The zinc content of the galvanizing process is obviously better than that of the first galvanized wire mesh, and the welding point is also well protected against corrosion. Life expectancy is better,it is usually about 2 years for electro galvanized and more than 10years for hot dipped galvanized material.
Except for galvanized material, many of welded wire fence come with PVC surface treatment,the dipped PVC welded wire mesh is made of black silk after machine weaving. It is made of surface impregnated plastic for anti-corrosion. Its color is varied and its life span is 8-10 years.
