UV lights like these used to be large, loud, metal-halide beasts that were slightly dangerous.  (I recall an experience with one that had cracked glass and made my eyes hurt...)  Today's LED based UV lights are much better, and this one shoots out a pretty wide beam of bright UV light for mid-sized venues.
