Fiberglass is a solid, glass-like material, that is a resin and fiber composite. While slightly flexible, fiberglass is considered a solid-wall construction in automotive and RV applications. It is highly resistant to water penetration and UV damage. One big advantage of a fiberglass roof on your RV is that it is resistant to gouging by tree limbs. If you’ve been in the RV world for even a little bit, you know what a danger they can be. Some fiberglass roofs are so dense that customers can walk on them, though we at RecPro do not suggest this and ask our customers to exercise caution in all things RV related.

A fiberglass roof (or even exterior) could add weight and cost to your RV, initially. But, because of the durability of fiberglass, you will see a savings over time after installation. If you like low-maintenance exteriors, we here at RecPro recommend investing in fiberglass.

Good for more than just curb appeal, trailer fender skirts offer protection for your recreational vehicle preventing costly damage that can accrue over time; while adding to your vehicle’s aesthetic. Originally designed to protect tires and surrounding vehicles, fender skirts are now highly recommended by professionals throughout the industry. Without a fender skirt, your RV will suffer from constant wear and tear on a multitude of parts. Before you know it you can find yourself regularly replacing expensive items; something that could be avoided with the simple application of a skirt.

One constant among RVs is the need for ventilation. Vents are important for ensuring that the air inside the RV remains fresh, which is important for your health, but the health of the RV as well. Air that maintains a high humidity factor can be detrimental over time. It can lead to your rig having that “musty smell”, or in the worst-case scenario; growing mold.

While standard exterior vents measures 14”, we offer a variety of sizes to fit your customization needs. Our exterior vents are constructed with tough plastics to withstand the punishment of the outside environment. Fading, cracking and crazing won’t be a problem with a vent from RecPro.
