Use of the water park is optional & included in the price of admission during the Summertime season until early September. Subject to availability; based on guest traffic flow & capacity we may limit the number of guests in the water park at times.
Guests need to bring their own towels and modest bathing suits; those items also may be purchased at the Elfs Lodge Trading Post gift shop. The Elfs Lodge also features family changing rooms & shower, rest rooms, and locker rentals. The Merry Mess Hall serves lunch and soft serve ice cream overlooking the water park.
On warmer days please consider a late-morning visit to the water park, as it can be very popular later. We suggest limiting your time in that area to about 90 minutes, to provide plenty of time for your family to enjoy the features in the rest of the park, and to allow others to also enjoy the water park.
The Water Park is scheduled to be open from May 25th through September 8th in 2024. We may keep it closed if the air temperature falls short of 65 degrees, because our water is not heated. It opens an hour after the rest of the park (or later on cold mornings), and closes about twenty minutes before the rest of the park.
Each of the four separate features — Polar Paradise, Ho Ho H2O, JOY Ride Slides, Poogee’s Splash Pad — typically opens daily, though each is subject to schedule changes such as delayed openings, temporary closures, or early closures. Schedule adjustments may happen for factors such as unfavorable weather conditions, chemical imbalances caused by users or nature, mechanical or electrical maintenance, and staffing limitations.
