This practice is done by heating each coil in small annealing furnaces and cooling it to room temperature using a slow-cooling process.

Baling wire has been found useful in a variety of industries, such as:

• Agricultural. The agricultural sector has used baling wire for well over a century as a means to hold together bales of hay, straw, cotton, and other crops for more convenient usage, storage, and transport. While farmers and ranchers once created the bales by hand and manually tied them together with baling wire, this process has now been automated by most larger operations using mechanical balers.
• Recycling. The recycling industry uses balers to bind compress recycled material, such as cardboard, textiles, aluminum, paper, and plastic. Baling wire is used to hold these bales together for storage and transportation.
• Construction. The construction sector relies on baling wire to keep materials organized. Baling wire is often used to bundle lumber or other building materials for safe transport and convenient on-site storage.
